“ The decor and ambiance is really a mood here. Feels like a Parisian setting, and honestly the service is excellent. The food and wine selection is good, arrives quickly and imagine that the kitchen must be quite organised to deliver a food around multiple tapas ordering rounds. ”
“ To be honest, it definitely wasn’t bad! The food and the vibe was totally amazing. HOWEVER, the concept is as Dutch as it can get, nothing spontaneous or it isn’t about a relaxing night. Because there’s rules to the concept and they enforce it suuuper hard. I totally understand there need to be rules to a concept, especially in the Netherlands, Dutchies love abusing a concept. However they won’t take our next order untill we ALL finished our plate to the last crumb. Just take the order and put it in 10 mins later, don’t take the rules so serious. It ruins the service concept or the place. Even the waiters agreed with us. Something ‘t Zusje needs to take into account, to make it feel more spontaneous. They seem to focussed on selling drinks more than having a great food experience. Overall not bad, just left a bad after taste. ”

“ We had to relocate to Zusje Veenendaal due to problems at Zusje Utrecht. We always liked the quality of the food at Zusje Utrecht. Zusje Veenendaal unfortunately was a bit of a let down. Situated in a really nice building, they have in all honestly ceated a nice atmosphere making you feel right at home. The food however was on a general level blend and lacked depth of flavors. Or flavors all together. Verdict is still not in on that one. Sauvignon Blanc was decent. Desserts were ok. All in all, not a winner. ”
